Hm. Terms of service make me a bit uneasy. ( Said Terms for referance.) You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of ANY law. This is not only humorous, but legal actions can be taken against you. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or you have consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also inappropriate to this forum.
Note that it is impossible for us to confirm the validity of posts on this forum. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages and are not responsible for their content. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information presented. The messages express the views of the author, not necessarily the views of this forum. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator of this forum immediately. We have the rights to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy goes for member profile information as well.
You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this forum, and any related websites to this forum. We at this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any information we have about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any information posted by you.
You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another member, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another member's account to post messages or browse this forum.
After you register and log into this forum, you can fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information we deem inaccurate or vulgar will be removed.
Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.
You are solely responsible for any and all attachments that you post to this forum. You may not post files to this forum which contain copyrighted material that you do not have permission from the author to post.
You also agree to the entire ProBoards.com Terms of Service. (Sexually Orientated?) Specifically: The part about not posting sexually orientated things. Does this mean no smut is allowed? Or that smut must be censored? Or simply that people should be warned if something contains smut? Or is it just saying: "Do not sexually harass people!" Also, so far as being vulger/unappropriate... is cursing allowed? I would say that we're all adults and this should be nothing to worry about. But a lot of these rules seem like they could be selectively enforced. So I think that we should make them a bit more specific for pertaining to this board to avoid that, or at least to clarify what's allowed. I'd like to put forth the suggestion that swearing and smut should be allowed and as a members of the board, we agree not to make an issue of it. This topic is open for discussion (debate?) if anyone has a different view. -Lu (Emily)

I'm going to try to post something somewhere saying this is an "adults" forum, ie, this is for college students and we expect an adult level maturity from users of this board. Beyond that, I'm allowing cursing. In the orinal coding fo the board there were blocks for certain words, which I've removed. They say they don't monitor the boards, so unless some kid comes on here, sees the adultness, and whines to mommy who sets up a witch hunt, we should be good.
In the event of any witch hunts, I'm voting we pack up and find another host, but for the time being this should work I think
I know I've seen other proboards with explicitness and cursing, so it shouldn't become an issue, and if it does, I'll take responsibility to work through it. Is that okay?
I would say, warn for smut also. Because, er, I don't know that everyone within the club is comfortable with smut, let alone our kind of smut. XD No iolating each other's lobster spots, yeah?
I agree with what you put forth. We can double check with our errant associates come friday.

Yeah, for the mo. I figure we don't need much admin stuff, but as rule threads are establiashed, I'm thinking of having the begining post by admin, just so.
And the lobster spot is best described in person. X3
